Whether you are trying to help kids get through OLNA, or setting up a year 7 course for students who are struggling, this Foundations for High School course is for you!
Content includes:
- Adding and subtracting efficiently (including integers)
- Length, perimeter, mass and capacity as a number line
- Adding and subtracting with time, and reading clocks
- Multiplying and dividing efficiently and developing fact fluency
- Area of rectangles and related shapes
- Understanding fractions, decimals and percent, converting between them, and operating with them
- Using relationship tables for ratios, fractions and percentages
Take-aways for each teacher:
- 75 lessons in student-friendly language to teach foundations concepts, deal with misconceptions, and develop fluency. This includes all topics listed in the content PLUS introductory algebra and linear equations.
