12 month Mathematics Improvement Project
for primary, junior secondary and foundations/essentials teachers
6 live training days: 27+28 March, 9+10 June, 13+14 November
As best results are obtained when schools send a team of teachers, supported by a leader, we offer $100 discount per ticket plus 12 months of whole-school webinar and website access for schools that send teams of at least 3 teachers.*
Held twice per term after school, plus 12-months of access to the 8 recordings as well as a bank of 21 other previously recorded sessions. It is optional to attend each session – they are provided for added support rather than being compulsory. The sessions provide short and sharp workshops on important aspects of mathematics teaching, which are highly interactive. Participating in these sessions live also provides an opportunity for teachers to ask Tierney questions and receive additional support. The workshop element of each webinar is recorded at a separate time so that online participants are not recorded. Recordings are accessible by project teachers for all of 2025.
Send a team of 3-4 to receive $100 off per ticket, plus webinars and website access for all your teachers.

In our previous projects, schools that sent a small team of teachers, supported by a leader, made the greatest improvement in results. The teams were able to test out ideas and hone their skills prior to introducing the approach to other staff. To support schools making this choice, we are providing free whole-school webinar and whole-school website access, throughout 2025 to all schools that send 3 or 4 staff to the project, so attendees can support other teachers in their school.
School Data Analysis Report ($1900)
Each school has different needs. If you purchase a Data Analysis Report, Tierney will provide detailed analysis of your school’s NAPLAN and PATM data (including checking individual growth for every student), and create a set of 4-5 site-specific and practical recommendations for steps your school can take to make the most rapid improvements. These recommendations will then be used by Tierney to form the basis for learning for teachers throughout the project. Graphs and recommendations can be included in school annual reports and audits.
